Sweet Tea Sangria

Writer: Elisa JuarezElisa Juarez

This is a Southern specialty from Country Living!

"There's nothing quite like a cold glass of sweet tea on a hot summer day. And now, your favorite Southern staple just got even better: We spiked a pitcher with white wine, peaches, and raspberries for a refreshing and easy sangria recipe. Be sure to make a big batch so there's plenty to go around—then pour yourself a glass and kick back in your rocking chair."

YIELDS: 6 - 8

TOTAL TIME: 10 mins

INGREDIENTS

6 c. sweet tea 1 bottle white wine 1 pt. berries Sliced peaches Fresh mint

DIRECTIONS

  1. Fill a pitcher with 6 cups sweet tea and a bottle of white wine (we used Casa de la Vega Rueda Superior Verdejo).

  2. Add berries (we used raspberries) and peaches.

  3. Let chill for a few hours (or even better, overnight!).

  4. Garnish with fresh mint (optional). For extra presentation points, serve in Mason jars with tea bags tied around the lids with twine.
